Transit of Venus
by Honor Wheeler

The Transit of Venus was taken through a Personal Solar Telescope PST afocally with Panasonic TZ20 compact camera.
The location was on a hill top in Brenchley near Paddock Wood. The image doesn't show the H-alpha surface of the Sun because the image exposure was to long, there wasn't much time to get the correct settings. Over all we only had 18 minutes of the Transit left when the Sun emerged from behind the clouds so visual observing took precedence over photography.

F/5, Exposure 1/8 sec, ISO160.
