Cloud Iridescence
by Honor Wheeler

Cloud Iridescence is caused when clouds are thin and have similar size water droplets, diffraction can make them shine with colours like a corona. The display didn't last long, less than 4 minutes and then the clouds were gone.
F/6.3, 1/400sec exposure, ISO250 with a Panasonic TZ20 compact camera in landscape mode, taken from my home in Wilmington.
